Karnataka State Pharmacy Council is the first council to appoint Pharmacy Inspectors under section 26(A) of the Pharmacy Act, 1948. They are eminent members of the teaching faculty from Karnataka. They are instructed to inspect the premises where dispensing is carried out to ensure that dispensing is carried out by the Registered Pharmacists.
